I received this message via Twitter this morning:
“Just wanted to let you know that any email I send you is bouncing back to me this
morning. Do you have an ALT email?”
OK, I think to myself. Where, who, when and how is my email managed. Does Bluehost manage my email? Or who?
I get a little panicky when I face this kind of problem, because as techy as I am in some ways, this is not one of them. Ugh I think. Ugh!
I get on the phone and call up the guys at Bluehost and almost whisper my question: “Do you guys manage my email?”
“Well yes, actually we do. I am going there now to see what the problem is. Oh I see, you are over quota”.
This is what I love about Bluehost support. They don’t ask a bunch of over-the-head questions–they just deal with the problem.
He then says, “OK log in to Bluehost because your account is set to 250 mb, but you are actually allowed unlimited space for your account”.
(Another reason for luvin them.)
I log in and he points me to the “email” area in the C-Panel (if you saw my vid, then you will know the C-Panel). He then tells me to look over to the right of my domain names. Look for the hyperlinked icons and find the one that says “Change Quota”. I click on it and a field opens where I type the word “none” and I no longer have a quota. It is now unlimited.
I love Bluehost…
If you need help with this, email me.
