Once again, a social network site is changing the rules midstream leaving people vulnerable to losing their connection to their market and/or clients.
NING announced today that there will be only premium accounts, (premium meaning you must pay of course).
So what will happen to those who won’t or can’t pay the installments required to keep their niche site going?
The management over at NING will begin laying off 40% of their staff as of tomorrow, so I don’t think they will wait long to make their sweeping changes. Read more here: NING site news
I highly recommend that EVERYONE has a website that they are in control of. Why?
- Countless people have been shut out of their free blogging platforms because they broke the rules
- Facebook has closed down profiles of people who have pushed the limits
- Ning sites are now charging a premium for the free services they provided yesterday
